So who is behind Dropzy? The illuminati? International cat conspirators?! No... Reality is much more SHOCKING!

Hi there,

First things first — thank you for stopping by. People often want to know who's actually behind a business, and I think that's a completely fair expectation. Life would look very different if we all knew who really controlled the money and power around us — who owns what, who sits behind the curtain. So in that spirit, here's mine, no curtain included.

I'm no millionaire — not even close. I'm just an ordinary IT professional who spent the last 20 years serving large companies around the world, keeping their applications running and their systems working, quietly, in the background.
Somewhere along the way, I had to admit something uncomfortable: in this industry, it's almost impossible to stay current for long. When I moved back from Switzerland to Hungary in 2022, I threw myself into retraining as a DevOps engineer — and I made it. But not long after landing my first DevOps role, AI hit the industry hard, and within about three years, half of what I'd just learned was already becoming obsolete. It stung. I felt trapped in a kind of toxic race: either study endlessly and give up any life outside of work, or fall behind.
That feeling is what actually pushed me to start building something of my own — not for another endlessly demanding company, but for myself, for once. That's how dropzy was born: my first real "love project."
Even the name has a bit of heart behind it. It comes from watching cats do what cats do best — casually knocking things off high shelves just because they can. I played around with the word "drop," and dropzy was born.
I won't pretend it's perfect. It's my very first project, and there's a lot I still have to learn and improve. All I ask is a little patience — and if you're up for it, I'd love for you to stick around and see where this journey takes us.
Yours sincerely,
Norbert
